Welcome to Reader’s Spotlight where YOU, the reader are highlighted
Who’s in the Spotlight now?
Welcome Lucinda and before I start, thanks for allowing me to put you in the ‘spotlight’. I love getting to know the readers who are as intense about books and reading too. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself? Hello everyone. My name is Lucinda but all my friends and family call me Cindy. I’m originally from Ohio but was married to a Marine for 25 years so I’ve not lived in Ohio for many many years. I now live in the great state of Texas but my previous homes were NC, SC, PA, NJ, CA, and Okinawa Japan. I love traveling, reading, and cooking.
Where would you travel to if money were not an option and you could go anywhere you wanted in the world, where would it be? You could only chose 1 other person to take with you? Well if money were no object I would go to Europe and visit all the different countries. I visited The United Kingdom two years ago and stayed for three weeks, that was still not enough time. I love the architecture and history of the European countries. If I could take one person with me it would be my Sister!
I agree, Europe’s architecture is amazing! My friend is there right now and I can’t wait until she gets back to show off her photos. From your facebook page, it seems that you are 100% a Mom involved in her kids lives very much! So, let’s say if you could do one thing for each kid that would change their life, what would it be? Yes I do love my two daughters and grandchildren very much! I love spending time with them and cherish it when we are together as we all live in different states. Umm, what would I do that would change their lives…. well I really wouldn’t change anything other than try to make sure they knew just how much I love them no matter what. Their great girls!
What type of genre is your favorite? My favorite reading genre is romance in any way, shape, or form. I’m a hopeless romantic. I read them all erotic, ya, contemporary, and historical. I love all books and do read all genres but always come back to my romances. Right now I have at least 30 books I need to read but I still keep buying new ones. Lol….just can’t help myself!
I agree, I think we’re all there with you on buying more books. Is there one novel that stands out above all the others you’ve ever read? I read this trilogy a long time ago, One Wore Blue, One Wore Gray and One Rode West and it is something I won’t ever forget. Do you have a certain book or series like that? I have too many favorite series to mention just one! There are so many great authors out there today and I find a new one at least once a week!
Beach or Mountains for your favorite place to get-a-way? Definitely the BEACH!!!
Favorite saying? Do you plaster little sayings through your house? I stick them around my computer and on my fridge at times. My very favorite saying is *I love you to the moon and back* I always said that to my kids!! I too have little sayings all over my house.
Hair or clean shaven? Actually I like the look of a man that hasn’t shaved in a day or two…. that to me is so sexy looking!
I’m in agreement with you and I bet many others are too. Let’s switch to another subject, your most memorable moment? I have two, both the days my daughters were born!
Last one, see you made it through….what is one thing you want people to know about you to encourage them to be a better person? Lol, you’re right I made it! I want to thank you for having me Cyndi! I’m not sure if it will make anyone better but I always try to keep an open mind about all things and never never judge people!
What a wonderful person you are Lucinda, thanks for taking time out of your day to be interviewed. So readers, say hello to Lucinda!
