I just wanted to stop in and say Thank You to all of my readers who have been with me from the very beginning and also the brand new readers that just found my books. If it weren’t for all of you, I couldn’t do what I’m doing. I love that you enjoy my books and stories about the Florida Keys. It is a very special place that I just love to talk and write about.
I also want to start out the new year by thanking Vince at Awesomegang.com for giving writers a place to advertise their books at a very affordable price. Have you seen the interview he did on me? If not, it’s a really nice author interview about my writing. You may find it interesting.
The other place that featured my book was Examiner.com. That was really exciting because I didn’t go looking for more places to advertise but was asked. I was one of the very first authors she featured, so that was exciting for me as a new writer. If you haven’t seen it, you can check it out at the link below:
What’s new for 2014? I am currently working on the third book in the Florida Keys Series called Key West Wild. I’m still working it all out, but it’s the story of a woman, Sara Rose, who moves to Key West after dumping her abusive husband. She worked for two years to build up an online business so that she could make it on her own. Her brothers offer to stay in Key West was just what she needed. She planned on living a life of leisure, getting wild in the crazy city of Key West and forgetting about the last ten years.
Only when she gets to Key West, her brother seems to be missing. So, there she is dragging her luggage down Duval Street, looking for a place to stay. It seems the city has a big festival going on and there’s no available hotels and no brother to be found.
Then she discovers Joshua Eden. If you remember Joshua, the undercover agent from the 2nd book Nothing Waits Forever, in this story he really comes to life. He is at a crossroads, wasting away his days and nights in Key West bars, trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life after being under cover for the last ten years. Getting ready to turn 40, he thought about retiring from the agency and perhaps starting his own detective work, something not so dangerous.
Little did he know that he would be disrupted by a beautiful honey-blonde woman who needed his help. The two find themselves in quite a few predicaments together and some adventures that are quite crazy indeed. I can’t wait to get this story out to you and I’ll keep you informed when it will be available.
Until next time, have a beautiful day……
